About Me

Hey there!

I am Serenity! I became a doula in 2017 after finding out that supporting women through labor in a non-medical way was a real job. I used to watch A Birth Story and similar shows since I was in elementary school, so ever since I can remember, I have always had a passion and interest for all things pregnancy and birth-related! I have had the honor of serving and attending many births since becoming certified and each time my passion dives deeper! In addition to being a certified doula, I also am a certified lactation counselor.

I have experience with natural, unmedicated births, medicated births, inductions, and VBACs!

A little about me:

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we just had our first baby, Eleanor Grace in May of 2021. We love to travel together! I also love cooking, baking, and continuously learning about all things from pregnancy through postpartum and natural living! I am also a proud follower of Jesus!

My Philosophy

My philosophy on childbirth is that it is a natural process! I believe that women’s bodies were made with the extraordinary capability to grow and deliver babies. I personally believe that the less intervention the better for both the mom and baby, although they are sometimes necessary!
